Salmon Sukiyaki Recipe and Tips
- 200g salmon fillet, thinly sliced
- 200g firm tofu, cubed
- 1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 cup sliced Napa cabbage
- 1 cup sliced leeks or green onions
- 2 cups dashi broth (Japanese soup stock)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin (sweet rice wine)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 eggs, beaten (optional)
- Steamed rice, for serving
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or sukiyaki pan over medium heat.
- Add the salmon slices and cook until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
