- 1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
- 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur (optional)
- 8 oz (225g) mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips
- Whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and additional almonds for garnish
Instructions:
- In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee (or espresso) and amaretto liqueur (if using).
- Dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the coffee mixture for a few seconds, making sure to coat both sides. Layer the soaked biscuits in the bottom of a serving dish or individual dessert glasses.
